American Idol - who goes home tonight?
American Idol is three weeks away from a new winner for Season 8. If you are on the Adam Lambert ‘bandwagon,’ you know he is in a league of his own. The energy he brings to the stage and the star power he exudes are undeniable. How
ever, that doesn’t mean he will win this season (as we all know what has happened with the other former idols). After watching the Top 5 perform songs from the Rat Pack era, they all did a very decent job, but Adam, Allison and Danny were very strong. Simon seems to think that Allison is in danger tonight, but she is an incredible singer and has been consistently great each week. However, she has been in the bottom more than she should and that must mean that America isn’t feeling it. No matter if she goes home tonight or not, we haven’t seen the end of her. Allison’s career is just beginning.The judges used the ’save’ on Matt and he was given a second chance. Matt is a good singer, but he does not stand out like the other contestants. Danny is definitely a front runner and really shined last night. He is likable, has a sad back-story and can really sing. All of this makes me think that he is going to be our new American Idol.Not to take away anything from Kris since he has been the ‘underdog’ in this and can certainly sneak up on any of them, but I do not see him winning.My vote goes to Adam, Allison or Danny. We all know that is really doesn’t matter if you win or not, because most runners-up will most likely get a record deal.Who is your favorite? Who is going home tonight?
